La Plonk, one of South East Queensland’s longest established wineries hosted an open tasting workshop last weekend. Educating the palates of both refined and beginner wine lovers, this event was a fundraiser for the local Miss Wine Industry in her quest to secure the Festival crown.
Well known celebrities rubbed shoulders with local characters culminating in a memorable evening for all. GG caught up with Terry Burdon and Elie Lex sampling the ports on offer. Elie looked tanned and fabulous and despite having retired from modeling over two years ago, still strikes a great pose.
Terry can be excused for his hairy looks given he in the midst of filming Ned Kelly – the True Chronicles. Earlier in the day, Elie left her small charges in the care of her nanny and entourage for some well earned R & R. She was spotted leaving the event early with Miss Wine – Cara Stilton - to catch the sales at the mall. By the looks of what Cara had been wearing that evening, she could do worse than to take notes from the impeccable Elie.
