I had some photos to share with this - but thought it might be a bit off... This story was inspired by an experience this morning, with my kids; back on the farm.....

love the way you build up the atmosphere in this piece. It's not quite a sense of foreboding but it's more than just hesitancy.

Okay so I don't know what I was expecting, but the ending definately threw me for a loop. Great setup!
Wow, Annie... I think I'm kinda glad my mum doesn't kill her chooks! That was pretty cool though - I love how you manage to make the parents' concern so mysterious...
